MEMBERSHIP FAQ
WYC basically has two types of members; those who have sites with properties and those without sites. Should you be interested in purchasing a site the fees are as follows:

Once off Entrance Fee for a proposed site owner R 32, 000.00

Annual Family Membership Fee R 4, 700.00 OR Annual Single Membership Fee R 2, 350.00

Annual Site Fee R 11, 500.00

Annual Security Levy per Cabin R 2, 800.00

Should you be interested in membership only, then the fees are as follows:

Once off Entrance Fee R 3, 200.00. However, if you decide to buy a property at a later stage then you will need to pay the difference between the R 32, 000.00 and R 3, 200.00

Annual Family Membership Fee R4, 700.00 OR Annual Single Membership Fee R 2, 350.00
These fees are reviewed every year in July during our annual AGM.
Once we receive your application form you need to attend an interview with the Committee after that, your application will be posted on the notice board for two weeks. If you know of any existing members of the Club they can propose and second your application.
The ground belongs to the Department of Water Affairs (DWAF) and the site owner, therefore, WYC does not own the property and you will not receive a title deed.
Note: You can only acquire rights to a site once you have been accepted as a member.
Most of our cabin owners have boat sheds on the grounds,
the annual fee for the boat shed is R 2, 350.00.
